My Chemical Romance Announces A New South American Tour
After dominating Billboard’s rock charts with the deluxe edition of “Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge (2025),” My Chemical Romance has something more. The band is taking its iconic sound south for a five-date South American tour in early 2026.
The emo pioneers will visit Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil. What is more, they will have Swedish rockers, the Hives, serving as special guests for the tour leg. Fans can expect a high-energy experience as the band takes their unforgettable music to these passionate crowds.
Hence, building on their momentum, the group is set to embark on a 10-date North American stadium tour in 2025. The tour will celebrate the 2006 classic The Black Parade. Re-released in 2016 for its 10th anniversary. The album will be the centerpiece of the tour, kicking off on July 11 in Seattle and wrapping up on September 13 in Tampa, Florida.
In a recent Instagram post, My Chemical Romance teased their South American dates with a nod to their breakout anthem, “Helena.” “Helena” is a track from “Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge” that peaked at No. 33 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2005. The choice of this song hints at a more nostalgic setlist for the South American leg. Thus, it focuses on their earlier work rather than the Black Parade era that will dominate the North American tour.
“Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge” remains a cornerstone of the band’s legacy. In a way, it marked their major breakthrough in 2004. After its deluxe reissue, the album recently returned to the top of several Billboard charts. Also, it re-entered the all-genre Billboard 200 at No. 6.
