Paramore Reschedules Shows Due to Illness: Fans Show Understanding and Support
Paramore, the renowned band supporting their latest album “This Is Why,” recently faced setbacks due to an undisclosed illness within their touring party. Initially, they announced the postponement and rescheduling of one show, but this number quickly escalated to four immediate dates, which have now been pushed to mid-August.
On July 22, the band shared the unfortunate news of the San Francisco show’s move to August 7 due to the illness. The following day, they issued another update, revealing that three more shows in Seattle, Washington, Portland, Oregon, and Salt Lake City, Utah, originally scheduled for July 24, 25, and 27, respectively, will now take place on August 9, 10, and 13.
Paramore expressed their sincere apologies to their fans in San Francisco for the last-minute announcement, acknowledging the inconvenience caused. They assured fans that they made every effort to put on the show as planned, but the circumstances made it unfeasible.
Postponing shows is not a decision taken lightly by the band, and they emphasized that rescheduling dates is the last thing they want to do. Despite the setbacks, they conveyed their love to the fans and expressed hope for a swift return.
The current tour was initially set to conclude on August 2 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Fortunately, the band’s tour timeline allowed them to quickly rebook the affected dates, easing the situation for both the band and the fans.
Paramore‘s resilience shines through, and they continue to maintain a strong connection with their fanbase. Their support for Taylor Swift’s tour in the U.K. and Europe next year presents further opportunities for fans to catch them in action.
