The Weeknd Announces Release Date for ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’ and Rose Bowl Concert

The Weeknd has confirmed January 24, 2025, as the release date for his highly anticipated album Hurry Up Tomorrow. The album marks the final chapter in a trilogy that includes After Hours and Dawn FM, released two years apart.

To celebrate the album’s release, the Canadian artist will host a one-night-only performance at the Rose Bowl on January 25, where the stage will span the entire stadium floor. Tickets for the event go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. PT via TheWeeknd.com.

This trilogy conclusion follows an impressive track record for the singer-songwriter, who holds the distinction of being the first artist to surpass one billion Spotify streams for 22 individual songs. Fans got their first glimpse of Hurry Up Tomorrow when The Weeknd teased its vinyl cover in early September. Shortly after, on September 13, the album’s lead single, “Dancing In Flames,” was released. October brought a collaboration with Brazilian pop star Anitta on the track “Sao Paolo,” performed during a special concert in Brazil on the same day.

Beyond music, Hurry Up Tomorrow is also the title of an upcoming feature film starring Abel Tesfaye (The Weeknd), Jenna Ortega, and Barry Keoghan. Directed by Trey Edward Shults (Waves), the psychological thriller will be distributed by Lionsgate. The film’s score is a collaboration between Tesfaye and Daniel Lopatin, further solidifying its musical core.

The Weeknd‘s previous project, Dawn FM, featured notable contributions from Tyler, the Creator, and Lil Wayne, while his After Hours single “Save Your Tears” received a remix with Ariana Grande. Known for his ability to merge genres and storytelling, his upcoming album and film aim to deliver a multi-dimensional experience for fans.

As anticipation builds, The Weeknd continues to redefine the boundaries of artistry, blending music, film, and live performance into a singular narrative.
