Avril Lavigne Reunites with Ex-Husband Deryck Whibley for Sum 41 Song at Las Vegas Concert
Avril Lavigne delighted fans in Las Vegas by inviting her ex-husband, Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley, to join her on stage. This surprise collaboration happened over the weekend during her ‘Greatest Hits’ tour.
Performing at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Saturday night (June 1), Lavigne’s setlist featured fan favorites like ‘Girlfriend,’ ‘What The Hell‘, and ‘Complicated,’ alongside tracks from her 2022 album Love Sux, including ‘Bite Me’ and ‘Love It When You Hate Me.’
Continuing her trend, Lavigne invited opening act All Time Low to perform their hit ‘Fake As Hell’ with her. However, the highlight of the night was when she introduced Deryck Whibley. “Tonight we have a special guest, and he plays guitar in one of my favorite bands, and your favorite bands,” Lavigne said before Whibley joined her on stage (via Kerrang!).
