Hans Zimmer Will Score The New Season of ‘Euphoria’

Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer has officially joined the creative team behind “Euphoria” Season 3. The legendary film scorer will collaborate with returning composer Labrinth to shape the next chapter of HBO’s hit drama.

“It’s an honor to join this incredible team of storytellers led by the visionary Sam Levinson,” Zimmer shared in a statement. “Together, they have crafted such a bold and moving series that has meant so much to audiences.”

Hans Zimmer has already scored cinematic juggernauts like “Inception,” “Interstellar,” “The Lion King,” and “Gladiator.” Thus, he will bring decades of emotive, world-building experience to the new season of “Euphoria.” His recent credits include “Dune” and its sequel. Additionally, Zimmer has worked on the upcoming “F1: The Movie” starring Brad Pitt.

Hans Zimmer and Labrinth Coming Together For The New Season

Labrinth expressed his excitement to be back in the mix. Yet, this time with one of his heroes.

“Another chapter in the Euphoria universe!” Labrinth said. “So great to join Hans, one of my heroes in film score, and bring some new magic to this new season. Love x.”

Series creator Sam Levinson also weighed in on the collaboration. He has revealed that Zimmer’s influence has been in the show’s creative bloodstream from day one. “It’s a true honor to be working alongside Hans. I wrote this season to the score of “Interstellar” and “True Romance, so he’s been ingrained in the creative DNA since the beginning,” Levinson said. “I’m really proud of the work Labrinth and I have done in previous seasons and am excited for Hans to push us to new heights.”

After multiple delays, production on Euphoria’s third season is finally underway. Hence, all the star members of the cast will come back: Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, and Alexa Demie. The new season will also introduce a roster of fresh faces, including Sharon Stone, Rosalía, and more.

With Zimmer’s cinematic gravitas joining Labrinth’s genre-blurring brilliance, Euphoria Season 3 looks set to be its most sonically ambitious yet.
