j-hope Announced A New Collaboration With GloRilla

j-hope is moving full speed into his next musical chapter, bringing some heavy hitters with him.

The BTS member and global solo force has officially announced his upcoming single, “Killin’ It Girl.” The track promises to be a high-powered collaboration with Memphis rap phenom GloRilla. And fans can expect it to drop on June 13 alongside an accompanying music video.

“Killin’ It Girl” marks the latest in j-hope’s post-military musical comeback and follows the success of his recent solo offerings. In a press release teasing the single, “Killin’ It Girl” proves to be a hip-hop-driven record that captures “the thrill of falling in love at first sight.” It will blend j-hope’s signature rhythmic flow and dance-forward energy with GloRilla’s unmistakable presence. “Killin’ It Girl” will show off her gritty, magnetic delivery, which perfectly contrasts Hobi’s clean precision. The result? A smooth but bold sound poised to resonate well beyond the BTS ARMY.

But fans won’t just be getting one version of the track. j-hope is also set to release a solo version of “Killin’ It Girl” the same day. Thus, he will offer a stripped-back take that puts his lyrical sensibility and evolving artistry front and center.

In a recent Billboard cover story, the 31-year-old artist opened up about his return to music after completing his mandatory military service. With BTS planning to regroup later this year once all members complete their service, j-hope wasted no time jumping back into the studio. Thus, he moved with a global perspective. “‘Sweet Dreams’ with Miguel had that smooth, soulful energy I’ve always wanted to tap into,” he shared. “And ‘Mona Lisa’ let me show a different kind of performance edge. But these tracks are just the beginning. I’m building a bigger, more diverse sonic world, and I’ve got a lot more experiments coming.”

That experimental streak is currently playing out on stage as well. j-hope’s Hope on the Stage world tour continues to build momentum. He stopped at Osaka’s Kyocera Dome on May 31 before closing out with a two-night homecoming at Seoul’s Goyang Sports Complex.

From Seoul to Memphis, j-hope is proving once again that he’s not just riding the wave—he’s making it. And with “Killin’ It Girl” on the horizon, he’s about to remind the world exactly why he’s a force to be reckoned with.
