Lady Gaga Gives a New Performance at Netflix’s Event

Lady Gaga commanded the stage at Netflix’s Tudum 2025. In true theatrical fashion, the 14-time Grammy winner took the Kia Forum in Los Angeles by storm on Saturday (May 31).

Unveiled this week in a newly released performance video, Gaga’s set was a gothic fever dream. The medley of standout tracks from her chart-topping Mayhem album. Surrounded by dancers, she delivered a truly Addams Family-worthy performance. Also, Lady Gaga moved through the shadowy choreography with precision and drama. The final note was her climbing into a standing coffin etched with the words “Here Lies the Monster Queen.”

The performance arrived moments after Netflix premiered the opening six minutes of Wednesday Season 2. Thus, they set the tone for an evening that fused pop spectacle with streaming fandom. And the surprises didn’t stop there. Netflix confirmed that Lady Gaga will officially join the Wednesday universe as Rosaline Rotwood. She will play an enigmatic teacher at Nevermore Academy with a dark aura.

Lady Gaga and The Addams Family

Gaga’s character will enter the series in Part 2 of Season 2, premiering September 3. Meanwhile, Part 1 drops on August 6. The role marks her latest addition to screen acting alongside  Joker: Folie à Deux, House of Gucci, and A Star Is Born.

Tudum 2025 pulled together a heavy-hitting guest list, from Daniel Craig and Ben Affleck to Teyana Taylor, etc. The event also featured exclusive previews of upcoming Netflix titles, including Frankenstein, Squid Game, Happy Gilmore 2, and Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.

Gaga’s performance wasn’t just a musical number—it was a statement. A declaration that in a world where fandoms and franchises dominate, she remains a singular force capable of turning pop culture into performance art. And with Mayhem still sitting comfortably in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 eleven weeks after its debut, the Monster Queen shows no signs of retreating into the coffin for good.
