PJ Harvey Unveils Concert Film “Live From L’Olympia in Paris” Featuring Album Playback and Greatest Hits
Renowned indie icon PJ Harvey has treated fans to a captivating concert film, Live From L’Olympia in Paris, recorded during her first tour since 2017 in support of the recent album I Inside The Old Year Dying. Directed by Antoine Carlier and shot by Walter Films in collaboration with Arte Concerts, the film captures the essence of Harvey’s live performance on October 13.
The 22-song setlist features a full playback of the new album, followed by a selection of her greatest hits, including crowd favorites like “Down by the Water” and “White Chalk.” The concert film premiered on Arte Concerts’ YouTube channel and is set for additional broadcasts on Arte channels in the coming year.
PJ Harvey has an exciting live schedule lined up for 2024, with headline slots at prestigious festivals such as Roskilde and Øya, along with appearances at Primavera Sound and Flow Festival. Additionally, she will curate a massive show at Gunnersbury Park in London in August 2024, featuring handpicked support acts Big Thief, Tirzah, and Shida Shahabi.
Reflecting on the curated lineup, Harvey expressed her excitement, stating, “I have chosen what I feel to be some of the most exciting artists working today. With them, I hope to be able to give the audience an emotional, heartening, and uplifting experience.”

Earlier in the year, PJ Harvey marked her return with I Inside The Old Year Dying, her first album in seven years, receiving critical acclaim as “an immersive return from a modern master”.
