RAYE expressed her excitement about the upcoming event, stating, “I think we’ve completely lost our minds, but we are bringing ‘My 21st Century Symphony’ to the O2 Arena.” In a press release, she emphasized, “This is my first headline performance at The O2 Arena. We will have 90 guests on stage, including the Heritage Orchestra and Flames Collective, our guests from The Royal Albert Hall, to perform ‘My 21st Century Symphony’… I am counting down the days for this moment.”
Presale tickets are available to those on RAYE’s mailing list, while general sale opens on January 30 at 10 am.
This remarkable announcement follows RAYE’s historic achievement at the BRIT Awards, where she secured an unprecedented seven nominations, marking the highest number ever earned by a single artist in the ceremony’s history. Reflecting on this milestone, RAYE, a BRIT School alumna, expressed her disbelief, saying, “I’m a BRIT kid, innit? I went to the BRIT School, and it was the goal, the ultimate goal, to find my way somehow to the BRIT Awards.”
Nominated for her album My 21st Century Blues, RAYE’s bold and brave musical declarations have garnered critical acclaim. NME praised the album in a four-star review as “a triumphant, hard-fought debut,” highlighting her creative independence. RAYE has surpassed the previous record of six nominations, jointly held by Robbie Williams, Gorillaz, and Craig David.
In addition to this groundbreaking news, RAYE has also unveiled rescheduled tour dates starting later this February, promising fans an opportunity to experience her electrifying performances live.
