Illuminati Hotties Set to Release New Album and Drops Single “Truck”
Sarah Tudzin‘s musical project, Illuminati Hotties, has been busy behind the scenes, providing production for Boygenius’ album The Record and opening for a portion of their North American tour. Now, the spotlight is about to shine on Illuminati Hotties once again. A press release has confirmed that their follow-up album to 2021’s Let Me Do One More is set to be released very soon. Leading up to the new LP, they have unveiled a fresh single titled “Truck.”
“Truck” is a dreamy, acoustic-based track that captures the essence of carefree summer vibes. Tugging at nostalgia, Tudzin sings, “You grew up way too fast / Took your corncob act to the city / Thought there could be something more / Turns out Hollywood’s just as boring / Sticking to the first game plan.”,
Promoting the single on Instagram, she encouraged fans to “Take a long drive and stream the heck outta this lil cruiser!”
Illuminati Hotties also has an exciting list of upcoming tour dates, showcasing their music to audiences across the globe. They will be performing at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago on July 23, and then joining boygenius for several shows in various cities. After that, they will embark on a solo tour in Australia, with performances in Adelaide, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, and Belgrave. On September 27, they will take the stage in Los Angeles at The Bellwether.
