The Jonas Brothers Deliver Their New Single From a Rooftop
The Jonas Brothers are keeping the heart wide open with their newest single, “I Can’t Lose.” Their sun-drenched pop anthem lifted straight from the trio’s upcoming seventh studio album, “Greetings From Your Hometown.”
Unveiled on July 16, the track brings a breezy, summertime energy to a theme far more poignant than its groove might suggest. “I Can’t Lose” is, at its core, a love letter to resilience. It is anchored in the notion that with the right person by your side, even life’s most chaotic days can’t knock you down.
“Woke up late, missed the alarm, can’t find the keys to my car,” Joe Jonas sings. He rattles off a stream of unlucky breaks with an almost comic levity. Yet the song’s warm, synth-glazed production and a euphoric chorus transform the mess into something triumphant. “I can’t lose when I’m with you,” they declare.
Jonas Brothers and Empowering Cancer Survivors
Thus, the accompanying performance video elevates the sentiment further. Filmed on a New York rooftop with a select crowd of fans. The clip blends footage of Jonas Brothers performing with intimate scenes of cancer survivors celebrating the end of treatment. Produced in partnership with Mastercard for Stand Up To Cancer, the visual debuted during the 2025 MLB All-Star Game. Hence, it served as both a musical moment and a tribute to collective strength.
“We debuted ‘I Can’t Lose’—a song about love, strength, and showing up for the people you love,” the band said in a statement. “Teaming up with Mastercard to uplift fans who’ve found hope and healing in our music means so much to us.”
“I Can’t Lose” isn’t the first taste of the upcoming record. The Jonas Brothers have already offered glimpses of the album’s stylistic range with previous singles. Thus, it has the Bee Gees-nodding disco shimmer of “No Time To Talk.” Also, the tender “Love Me to Heaven,” and the Marshmello-assisted slow-burn, “Slow Motion.” But this latest release may be the most emotionally charged to date. It is an optimistic rallying cry that doesn’t shy away from vulnerability.
The trio will bring that spirit on the road when their “JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown” tour kicks off August 10. It will start at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
