Travis Barker Gifts Fan His Drumsticks at Blink-182 Tour Opener

Travis Barker, the drummer for Blink-182, surprised a fan by personally gifting him his drumsticks at the opening day of the band’s 2023 European tour in Antwerp, Belgium. The lucky concertgoer had made a cardboard sign that read, “Can I have a drumstick?” Barker spotted the sign, walked out of the venue, and handed over a pair of drumsticks to the fan. The heartwarming moment was captured on video and posted on Barker’s official TikTok profile.

In the video, the fan becomes emotional and tearfully exclaims, “Travis Barker just gave me his drumsticks! What the f***?!” He later expressed his gratitude in the comments section, writing, “This was the happiest moment of my entire life! Thank you forever ❤️❤️❤️.”

Blink-182’s European tour had faced a delay earlier due to an urgent family matter involving Travis Barker’s wife, Kourtney Kardashian, who underwent life-threatening emergency surgery for their unborn baby. The European leg of their world tour is set to resume in Copenhagen, Denmark, on September 12, with concerts in London, Birmingham, and Manchester scheduled for October.

Blink-182 marked the return of Tom DeLonge last year, releasing the single ‘Edging’ and confirming that their ninth studio album was in the works. DeLonge teased that the upcoming album could be their “best” and “most progressive.”

The band further hinted at new music with the recent release of an animation featuring a digital clock, accompanied by snippets of unknown material.
