Jack White to Perform at Nashville Fundraiser for Venue Upgrades
Jack White is gearing up for a special performance at Nashville’s American Legion Post 82 this Saturday at 7pm to support the venue’s acquisition of a new sound system. The event promises an exclusive atmosphere, where fans can experience the music and contribute to a noble cause simultaneously.
White shared the details on social media, emphasizing the venue’s urgent need for an upgraded sound setup and inviting fans to join the effort. “All ticket proceeds will be used to purchase a robust new PA system,” says the official event description. In his Instagram comments, White described the event as a “garage punk show,” celebrating the dual benefit of great music and venue improvement.
Tickets are set to be released at 10am CT on Friday, July 26. Fans interested in attending can register online for a chance to buy tickets, although this does not ensure entry. Details and the registration link are available on White‘s announcement post online.
This concert will be White’s second performance of the year, following a show at the grand reopening of Michigan Central Station in Detroit. Recently, White surprised fans by distributing a new solo album secretly within bags at Third Man Records locations in London, Nashville, and Detroit, and encouraged listeners to share it freely online.
Although the album has been uploaded to White’s official Reddit page, there are no confirmed plans for a wider physical release. Subscribers of the Third Man service have also reported receiving the album by mail, according to reports from Stereogum.
White’s last musical releases were in 2022 with the albums ‘Fear Of The Dawn’ and ‘Entering Heaven Alive’.
