Jerro and Lyrah transform a Foundations Tour ID into an original track ‘Give It Up’ for This Never Happened label’
Jerro Brings Unreleased IDs to Brooklyn Foundations Tour: ‘Give It Up’ with Lyrah Released on This Never Happened
Jerro brought his Foundations Tour to Brooklyn in late February, where he showcased a couple of unreleased IDs in his two-hour set. During the show, he announced that he had just signed the first ID to This Never Happened, leaving the audience in anticipation of its release. Surprisingly, Lane 8 featured the same ID in his second mixtape delivery of the year, and Jerro confirmed that it would soon trade its ID4 placeholder for a name, “Give It Up,” alongside Lyrah.
This isn’t Jerro’s first release on This Never Happened, as he previously teamed up with Le Youth and Lizzy Land to produce a track that’s been dubbed one of the best of 2023. “Give It Up” was only held back from its short-lived unreleased status following both the Foundations Tour and the “Spring 2023 Mixtape,” which included a stop at EDC Mexico. Jerro and Lyrah were well aware of the impeccable synergy they had created, and they couldn’t wait to release it to the world. Now, “Give It Up” is available for streaming and showcases the perfect balance of melodic house and the duo’s creative synergy.
