Summer Jam 2023 Lineup: Cardi B and Spice to Headline Hot 97 Concert

The festival season is in full swing, and the latest addition to the summer lineup is the long-running Hot 97 Summer Jam in New York. This year, the festival has moved to Elmont, New York’s UBS Arena, which is the home of the NHL’s New York Islanders. The one-day festival is scheduled for June 4, and tickets will go on sale on Saturday, April 8, at 10 am.

This year’s lineup is a true showcase of New York’s talent, with Cardi B headlining the festival, and a full list of hip-hop “it-girls” from the tri-state area looking to make an impact. Coi Leray, Ice Spice, and Lola Brooke are some of the talented artists who will be performing, along with Bronx natives French Montana and Lil Tjay, and Brooklynite Fivio Foreign. Yonkers’s own The Lox will be paying tribute to the Hip-Hop 50, making it a well-rounded showcase of New York’s diverse talent.

The only out-of-towner on the bill is GloRilla, but this addition seems fitting alongside some of the other talented female artists on the lineup. As of right now, it looks like Summer Jam is going to be Cardi B’s first festival headlining set since the pandemic. For Ice Spice and Lola Brooke, it’ll be their biggest hometown show yet, marking an important opportunity for them after the unfortunate cancellation of Rolling Loud New York at the last minute this year.

The UBS Arena is a state-of-the-art venue that boasts some of the best sound and lighting systems in the world. It’s the perfect setting for a festival like Summer Jam, which is known for its electrifying performances and high-energy atmosphere. With this new venue, fans can expect an even more epic experience than in previous years.

Hot 97 Summer Jam has a reputation for bringing together some of the biggest names in hip-hop, and this year is no exception. Fans can look forward to an unforgettable day of music, culture, and community. As the festival’s lineup continues to grow, we can expect to see even more exciting announcements in the coming weeks. It’s time to get ready for the hottest event of the summer.
