Wet Leg Are Back With a New Album ‘Moisturizer’

Wet Leg has officially announced their sophomore album, “Moisturizer,” set to be released on July 11, 2025, via Domino Records. After a three-year hiatus, they are back and ready to continue creating new music. The lead single from the album, Catch These Fists,” debuted alongside a quirky and frenetic music video directed by the band.

The video features chaotic visuals, including an unplanned kidnapping, milk chugging, and a kick line in Wet Leg signature style. The track combines brash guitars and heavy beats with an undertone of menace. Chambers described the creative process as “just enjoying ourselves and experimenting,” while Teasdale emphasized the importance of crafting songs that would be fun to perform live.

“Moisturizer” will share the struggles of obsession and love. In addition,Teasdale revealed that her personal experiences shaped the majority of the album’s lyrical content. “I thought I was straight my whole life until I met my current partner—these love songs are inspired by them,” she explained. Writing from this fresh perspective allowed her to craft empowering narratives that diverge from traditional tropes.

The band worked with producer Dan Carey again for this record, retreating to Southwold in East Sussex in spring 2024 to write in a collaborative environment. Their creative sessions were marked by daytime songwriting and nighttime horror movie marathons. Chambers reflected on the process as natural and fun, noting that their focus was on creating relatable music.

Wet Leg has also teased an electrifying summer tour across Europe to coincide with the album’s release. Fans can expect appearances at major festivals like Glastonbury and Primavera Sound, where the band will show tracks from “Moisturizer.” Pre-orders for the album are already available in exclusive formats.
